The lettering on the restaurant's window helps to give this photograph a vintage aesthetic that reminds me of the images Fred Herzog was making in the late-1950's and early-1960's. During this time, Herzog's work consisted primarily of street photography in the city of Vancouver, Canada. This photograph is also from the pacific-northwest. It was taken in Portland, Oregon in 2013.
