Philadelphia is one of my favorite cities in the U.S.A. This image, from 2015, features a "Jah Is Love" painting adorning the front of a neighborhood rasta-shop. Of course the "City of Brotherly Love" has not always had a great relationship with the Rasta community. In 1985, Philadelphia police fired over 10,000 rounds of ammunition into a house full of Rastas. Then dropped a bomb, containing C-4 explosives, onto the building's roof. Eleven people died, including five children, and the resulting fire destroyed 61 homes. A sad day in American history!
