Chiado is a neighborhood located in Lisbon, Portugal. It is an important cultural and commercial district known for its historic landmarks, cobblestone streets, a blend of 18th century architectural styles, restaurants, theaters, and museums.
The neighborhood's location, directly on the shores of the Tagus River, adds to the overall appeal of the this part of the city. In this photograph, taken from my apartment's living room window, I take advantage of the afternoon light to illuminate the cityscape.
