Constructed in Girona, Spain in 1876 this foot-bridge is known for its red lattice ironwork. Built by Gustave Eiffel, just prior to the construction of the Eiffel Tower, the bridge crosses the Onyar River and connects the medieval streets of Girona's city center to the more modern parts of the city. In Catalan, the bridge is called Pont de les Peixateries Velles which translates to Old Fish Market Bridge.
